Who's starting (or hoping to start) this fall?

I used to post in this forum awhile ago, then kinda took a break because there was just alot of waiting until I actually got into nursing school. Well, I finally got in and am starting this fall :) I don't feel quite right about posting in the students section though, because I'm not quite there yet. I just wanted to see if there are any other soon-to-be nursing students who are lurking in this forum.

I'm going, I'm going, I got in for Sept 2010!:yeah:When I found out I was accepted I started screaming and jumping so much I scared my mom and cats! I've never been so exited, all that prep work and the agony over the entrance exam I got the result 2 days after I did the exam, I'm so glad I didn't have to wait for "up to 3-4 weeks" for the results!

Now I want my pre-health friends to get in, so many people are placed on waiting lists . I wih everyone the best, so that we can all be happy together in the nursing program!:hpygrp:

Fall 2010 hopeful here for LVN program at Victoria College (TX)... had a background check snag that might get me wait-listed because of the delay (round 2 candidates)... I am still hopeful, though, because if I miss the deadline and get wait-listed, there is a plan B for RN-ADN program for Spring 2011. :)

My program must be running behind or something. They updated information online saying that it will be another week before they send out acceptance letters.

At least your school lists when they expect to get letters out. I received my acceptance this week (almost 10 weeks after applying) and am SO excited. I have plenty to do for the next 6 months, but wish I were starting even sooner.

I'm so jealous of everyone who's heard from their schools, our applications were out Feb1st, deadline March 1st. They said responses would be out in April, but that they could be out as late as June 1st... 77 chairs fro over 400 applicants..

ME!!! I AM A FALL HOPEFUL! I HAVE APPLIED TO AN LPN AND ADN PROGRAM AT 3 DIFFERENT COMMUNITY COLLEGES. I HOPE AND PRAY THAT I GET IN SOMEWHERE!! LOL! I WILL FIND OUT TOWARDS THE END OF MAY (IT CANT GET HERE FAST ENOUGH!!) BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE WAITING AND CONGRATS TO THOSE ALREADY ACCEPTED.

I start this fall! I still have to finish A&P II and Micro and I swear this semester is just absolutely dragging on. I want summer to get here and all the exciting getting-ready-for-nursing-school activities that come with it. :)

my school's application deadline was Feb 1...and i'm still waiting for a letter. it's driving me crazy. lol

MEE!! SOOO Happy!! My first choice and first application...I will start the ASN program at Long Beach City College (my current school) in Aug 2010!...Pending I pass the TEAS test, which I have to take within the next few weeks, (they'll tell us the date this Thursday)..then off I go!

I am thrilled beyong belief!

I am!! I am so excited, and scared. I just got home from my orientation and registered for my fall classes. It is now official!!

OMG! You got your orientation already? wow!

I don't get my "registration package" until early June, orientation is at the end of summer. Start school after labor day! I'm so excited, can't wait to get my stuff, stethoscope and all :)
