Who's applying for the Fall 2006 semester?

Published

I was wondering who is applying for nursing school for the Fall 2006 semester.

My school allows us to hand in our transcripts for 3 weeks in March and the first batch of letters go out in May.

They only have 135 slots for the day and 50 for the evening. I will be applying for the day program since my gpa is not high enough for the evening (they say at least 3.7).

Good luck to everyone

I've also applied for Fall '06. Our apps for TCC were due the 28th of Feb, but the letters don't come out until the 1st week of May--talk about torture!:banghead: There are 100 spots for aprox 300-400 applicants--eek!:uhoh3: I guess all we can do is wait and see what happens.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!!!!!

Hope to see you all in class this fall!

I am also applying for Fall 2006. My GPA with all but Child Development and Oral Communications complete (should get A's in both) is a 3.51. There are 128 seats available for the evening classes and 1300 applicants. I am nervous as can be. The only good thing is that suppossedly my school uses a scale of completed classes to accept your application so a person with a 4.0 with only the pre-requisites done wouldn't get in before me but honestly who knows.

Nervous in New York. More like scared shitless in New York =).

hi I am from ny also, what schools have you applied to? Have you taken the NLN yet? I am taking it next week, NLN Pax for RN, applying to Beth Israel. If you took this exam any advise on what to focus on, any warnings what to watch out for? thanks

I'm applying for Fall 2006! Applications are due April 3rd and we don't find out until the end of May... They only have 54 slots and hopefully my happy bum will be in one of them! :)

count me in! we are supposed to have our letters by next weekend but i called the advisor and found out i made the gpa cutoff! fall of 06 here we come!!!

:biere: Hi how do you put the smiley that blows hearts onto my email? if at all possible , thanks

I can't stand the waiting any longer!!!!!

We applied in Jan and should find out by the end of this month so hopefuly (fingers crossed) I will know by the end of next week. I think I have a great chance of getting into this nursing program. They are more strict with their applicants so they usually only have a little over 200 apply and they take anywhere from 60-90 seats (depending on clincal availability), 80 accepted is the average.

I also applied to another school and we won't hear from them till May. They have over 1,000 applicants so I don't think my chances are all that great.

I'm excited for all of us! Can't wait to see all those acceptance letters rolling in here soon for you all!! Anyone in Oklahoma btw?

THe schools that I applied for deadline was January hopefully I will find out the first week April. :uhoh3:

I'm not sure how to do it. You may just have to right click on the picture, copy & paste it on your e-mail....then send it to the one you love. :lol2:

Good luck to all of y'all waiting for *happy notes*!

I am Our deadline isnt till June !! Im not sure if Ill get in or not. I just figure why not apply and see. I have most of my pre reqs done except for Micro which Im taking this summer and then A&P2.

We have a new night and weekend program at our school and thats what Im applying to. Im hoping its not as hard to get into as the regular program.

Wish me luck

One more month to go till I hear if I'm in or not. I'm going crazy trying to make "contengency" plans for fall class since I won't find out till about the time to register for fall classes! I'm really getting anxious to know one way or another so I can decide how many and which classes to take for the fall!:uhoh3:

Add me to the list too. I applied for LVN school (along with 350 other peeps) and just learned that I got in!:w00t: The test I had to take was the DET. Anyone ever heard of it? It's not a nursing test per say but it was very difficult. It took 3 hours to complete. My scores were 80% on the English/Reading portion and 86% on the Math portion. My letter says I passed the test and that means I got in. Only 45 people passed it last year and there are 60 spots so they took the next 15.

I got in just got my letter yesterday! Feel like i am on top of the world good luck to all of you who are still waiting for the letter. Now just beginning to worry about keeping up now that i am in. Ohe well it is always something
