I want to read about medications that are nornally given by nurses, what do you normally deal with on your floor? I'm hoping to see a common drug list, but who knows...
In our hospital everyone gets Colace to prevent constipation, Lovenox to prevent DVT, ASA for cardiac prevention, Theragran for multivitamin. For pain : norco, morphine, and dilaudid. Another common one I see all the time is Metoprolol. And the insulins- Novolog and Lantus.
