Can anyone tell me how isn't AT&T not going to be prosecuted for this?

If a link is found to the Insurrection and it's deemed illegal, then doesn't AT&T have a fiduciary responsibility to monitor OAN's output?

Hopefully there's going to be some accountability...

You posted a link that the Republicans lived this guy.  When I posted, from your link, that the Republican governor called for him to be removed, you posted that non-sensical tripe that you are becoming increasingly fond of, none of which had anything to do with my question.

And the tripe that @Curious1997 posted has anything to do with my question?

I think it does....if I have your question correctly which was what makes him think all Republicans love Trump.  If that was the question then he did list talk show personalities that still have jobs at Fox and I assume are not losing money for the corporation.  So, they must be getting sizable audiences.  I don't think there are two many Democrats that are able to watch them for more than a few minutes without getting sick so it must be Republicans to whom the advertisers are making their pitches.  Are you saying that there is a silent majority in the party who don't support Trump.  They certainly seem silent to me.  IMHO, people are afraid to mess with him because it's like messing with the mafia and they don't have the chupzah to speak up.  Curious is correct in stating something patently obvious - Trump became president because of the Republicans.  Sarcasm, but not tripe.

We weren't discussing Mr. Trump, we were discussing Mr. Weyler, a member of the New Hampshire state house.

Not all Republicans vote for all Republican candidates, and not all voters who support a Republican candidate are Republicans. For example, I am not a member of either of the two predominate parties, and I have voted for Republicans, especially at the state level.

It does irritate me that some posters automatically classify all Republicans as Trump supporters. I do wish more, meaning elected Republicans,  would speak out.

This Weyler dude does not seem to have any support from his party.

This Weyler dude occupies a prominent position in the party and has been spewing this bollocks for a long time without consequences!

Pretty sure they must approve if he's been getting away with it for so long!

That's been addressed many times.  I think people sometimes feel included in the group of "Trump supporter" when they haven't been.  Don't you think that Trump supporters set themselves apart from traditional conservatives?

Do you think that the fact that they don't and won't speak out is evidence of Trump's power in the GOP? If not, why won't they speak out then?

Rep. William Marsh, who became a Democrat last month after citing a prevailing view among GOP colleagues to oppose masks and vaccines, told The Daily Beast on Tuesday that he agrees with Sununu’s call to replace Weyler but has concerns over who could steer the committee toward science.

“It’s a problem because competence seems to be a disqualification at this point in time, it’s sad, it’s very sad,” Marsh said.

"I wish he had spoken up two weeks ago,” Marsh added separately of Sununu in an email. “I would hope to be proved wrong, but one of the reasons I changed my party affiliation is I no longer believe Republicans are willing to hold their members accountable.”

It's not clear that the crazy fellow is out of step with his party according to this:

Quote

New Hampshire House Speaker Sherman Packard remained mum Thursday night on Democratic calls that he remove a longtime Republican House member from the chairmanships of two key committees after he challenged the top state health official on key COVID-19 vaccination rates.

But two other top Republicans – including the chair of the state GOP -- said they did not think state Rep. Kenneth Weyler should be removed from his chairmanships.

Can anyone take Idaho seriously ever again because they elected these people?

Shouldn't they simply be arrested and deported to a Russian gulag for advertising their level of stupidity and being proud of it?

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/oct/06/trump-aides-capitol-attack-house-select-committee

And what do you want to bet these morons will follow trump's orders as if he's in power and get themselves into even more trouble than they are already in!

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2021/oct/06/fox-news-host-tucker-carlson-rails-against-australias-horrifying-covid-restrictions

And 3 million people watch this moron nightly knowing full well how many times he's lied to them!

When are they going to invent an anti stupidity vaccine?

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/oct/06/dystopian-world-singapore-patrol-robots-stoke-fears-of-surveillance-state

And banish all trumpistas to Singapore so they can really express their freedoms!

I've really had it with morons!

I'm sure you've noticed, there are quite a few here who can't follow along with a discussion.  They comment on one post, paying no attention to the other posts that provided context and info  to the one they are replying to.

Well some of us are big brained and can do several things at once.

I can always in-service you at no charge if you want to learn.

Begin with five fingers and assign a single task to each finger.

Wait, that's not the discussion is it? Or is it? How many fingers did I say to count ?????

Anyway, McConnell saw some sense or did he hear Biden’s comments on the filibuster? That scared the turtle man silly!

About time Biden pulled his finger out!

Oh, definitely. Whereas Trump loves to toss around the term RINO, he is neither a Republican nor a conservative.

Do you think that the fact that they don't and won't speak out is evidence of Trump's power in the GOP? If not, why won't they speak out then?

I can only guess they don't speak out of some sort of misplace party loyalty or just plain spinelessness. Speaking out has been costly for Liz Cheney, for sure.

It's not clear that the crazy fellow is out of step with his party according to this:

From my reading of the article, only 2 state Republicans support this Yahoo.

Did McConnell blink?

I don't think so. I think he got scared by Biden’s statement about the filibuster. Because, if that goes, republicans are completely screwed for a very, very long time! The entire game changes! From the Supreme Court to Governorships. Dems have been bailing out republicans for decades now!

They screw up and Dems fixes the mess.

They never win the popular vote and are only competitive with the electoral college. Turtle man doesn't want to become irrelevant because he is even unpopular in his own state.

Republicans have given up on Democracy and fully embraced authoritarianism.

The only thing America was known for was Democracy! We're not a diplomatic or sly as the Brits when dumbass Boris isn't there or socially gracious as the stylish French, but we had democracy!

And without the Dems, even that is gone!

Uh-oh.  The Duh ball has landed in my court!  Is Mr. Weyler mentally ill or is he a Republican typical to MTG, Rand Paul or any other of the wackos in the Republican party who get all the press attention? I don't know where the line is between ill or wormholed is anymore.  When the Repubs allow these people to flourish in their party, I am led to believe that the nuts are serving some purpose for  the silent majority - if there even is a silent majority.
