My school just changed from the passing grade being a 70% to an 80%..what is the passing score for your schools?

75. 74.9999 and below is failing.

My school you have to score average 80 or above on exams then the rest of your course is added if your exams are > 80% then that grade has to be above 80 to pass and then we also have to pass the ATI test.

84% is considered eligible to move to the next quarter.
They used to round up 83.5% to an 84%, but they changed that this year; an 83.5% is now considered an 83% and nothing more.
I was just wondering because the other schools in my area are 76%. I think 80% is fair, nursing is not supposed to be easy.

77. there are some rare occassions that if you get a 76.9.. say as your class grade, they may consider passing you. but passing grades on a test are 77% and higher.

I think 80% is fair, too. Even to apply, we can't have any classes that were below 84% or B-, which I think is fine for prerequisites, but for the actual program, 80% would do just fine.
