My school just changed from the passing grade being a 70% to an 80%..what is the passing score for your schools?

83% is passing, 82.9 isn't. Tests are 80% of the grade, homework 10%, and quizzes 10%. We had a quiz every day, unless it was a test day. Quizzes could not be made up, it was an excellent way to keep attendance up :)
Clinicals were P/F

75% on the test average is passing. Lab and clinical are pass/fail. 90% on the math and you have 2 chances to pass it. We get points on our ATI, leverl 3 being 20 points and then down from there. Very little extra credit too, which makes up for your 3% you lose for being late or being unprepaired! But like another person posted, everyone's tests are different, so it's hard to compare!

60% is a pass... however for clinicals we have to do written evaluations in which if you do not meet at indictators you do not move on... and we have personal evaluations with instructors as well.
we had one math test way back in semester 1 that needed 90% and over.. but honestly it was simple calculations. I think the hardest class is pathophysiology... you pray that you get 60% in that class.

from my understanding a c is passing...the only time they expect you to get a 90% or above is the med math exam...they also take off for non attendance and will fail you at the drop of a hat if you dont' participate...and no there is no rounding whatsoever...either you pass or you fail plain and simple...this is from my school's website about grading and passing...if you can't maintain a 2.0 then you don't need to be here
students must earn a c+ or better in order to enter the next nursing course. grades in non-nursing courses must be a c or better. clinical laboratory experience is graded by the use of satisfactory (s) or unsatisfactory(u). the laboratory experience is a vital part of the curriculum; therefore, an unsatisfactory clinical grade will be recorded as an f for the course. students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point ratio of 2.00 to progress to subsequent nursing courses. nursing courses may be repeated only once. if a second course is failed, the student is dismissed from the program.

We're at 76% for nursing classes. Clinicals and labs are pass/fail and if you fail the clinical portion of a class, you have to retake the entire class, regardless of your exam grade (same for passing clinical, but failing the exam grade). Generally our nursing classes have 3 total exams worth between 150-200 total points with no other graded materials. We have papers, etc., but they are not included in your numerical grade.
Pre and co-reqs require a minimum of a C to pass and move on. However, those are a more traditional 70% = C classes. Those are courses such as Anatomy, Phys, Patho, Stats, Nutrition, etc.

76% is pass 75.9999999999999999 is fail. 94% is an A and according to our director it is unattainable, which I believe to be true due to the fact that they throw out enough questions on every test to ensure that if you don't get a 100% you also don't get an A.

Ours changed mid year.
Passing was 75% for theory classes
but went to 70%
Clinicals: you absolutely had to pass the WRITTEN (paperwork, care plans, clinical reports etc) with at least the passing grade for theory. (75% at first, then 70%) Technically it was written so that the clinical was like 68% and the written portion 2% or something like that ..but we had a few people who thought they could get away w/ not doing any paperwork and pass because it was only worth 2%.... wrong. You had to have a passing score in BOTH aspects of the class before you were deemed capable. I agree with that but many did not. Saw paperwork as unnecessary. Got at least 2 people kicked out because they didn't take it seriously.

We have to score an 84% on each exam. 93% is the lowest A.
