My school just changed from the passing grade being a 70% to an 80%..what is the passing score for your schools?
Because our program follows the grading policy that the rest of the University uses, ours is a 70%...and that is an average, not per test.
I have to admit, having such a low pass mark takes away my drive to study in pass/fail (lab) classes. Why bother when I can pull off a 70 by just attending class. I'm also not the only one in my class who feels this way.
I'd like to see the passing mark actually raised in my program.

Our passing grade (for nursing classes only) is a 77. A 76.5 rounds up; anything below that rounds down. A 91 is an A-.
For non-nursing classes that are part of the program (Pathophysiology & Theology are 2 of them, for example), grading is more standard - failing is anything below 60. You can fail a non-nursing class and continue in the program, but have to repeat that individual class.
I'm in an accel program BTW.
