What is the passing score for your school?

My school just changed from the passing grade being a 70% to an 80%..what is the passing score for your schools?

80 in our program and they will round up from 79.5. Our final grade consists of 4 tests, a paper (which doesn't even get graded unless you have an 80 average on the tests), and clinicals are just pass/fail - so they don't really factor into our grade.

Our clinicals are also pass/fail..ours will round from 79.5 also.

78 and higher is passing here

A 60?! That seems crazy to me. Do you mind sharing what school you go to?

Mine is a 76. No rounding.

80 and absolutely no rounding. i am repeating med surg II and had a 79.9 last semester.

Passing for us is 82% anything under that is an F.

We need to have an 80% on the majority of exams (3 out of 5 usually) and an overall average 80% in the course.

75% and like all others clinicals are pass/fail

It is silly to compare grade scales between institutions because exams etc are not the same unless your school uses a standardized test like HESI or ATI. Then you can only compare with other schools that use that same test.

One school's harder exam and a 60% minimum grade might be the same actual difficulty to pass as another school's easier exam with an 85% minimum grade.

My school is 75% on any exam and class plus Level 2 on each ATI (scale is
