There's an interesting thread floating around here asking what topics members hate to see. I thought I'd switch things up with one asking what types of threads we actually like to read and respond to. (Please pardon that glaring grammatical error.)
Some of my personal favorites include the articles. These are often entertaining and almost always educational. I also love the real-life stories about nurses being patients, the ones about the positives of nursing, and of course the funny ones and the WILTW threads.
Anyone care to share?
I really like the "Ask an OR nurse" thread. I think I've read through it at least four times and it's one of my favorites. https://allnurses.com/operating-room-nursing/ask-an-or-1015274.html
I like the "what are your career goals", "help me choose between these job offers," and the"proofread my resume/cover letter" threads. I also like the articles about different nursing specialties.
Of course, I also enjoy the trolls, the "New grad wants to quit", the gross threads, and the clueless student threads.
I like the financial ones, school choice ones, and career path ones.. I like to think we are actually helping some people avoid some really big mistakes by giving them some advice about not going too deeply into debt, etc. Similarly, I think some of our threads about choosing schools and jobs are helping people and I like that.
Also ... and I probably shouldn't admit this ... Seeing the bad decisions that some people have made/are making makes me feel better about myself for having avoided some of those mistakes. "I may not be perfect, but I've done better than a lot of people," mentality.
I like the funny threads, the recycled topics thread, the threads about workplace relationships. I always hope I can be helpful to those posters, but so many of them are so SURE they're right and everyone only hates them because they're so beautiful.

I'm drawn to threads about anything home health, coworker relationships and weight/nutrition* issues and mgmt.
Not for the hateful and/or ignorant responses that always crop up, but for all of the other aspects.
