What job will you do for your semi-retirement?

Published

For some of you, retirement is just around the corner. Has anyone thought of doing something else part time after you have retired from nursing?

I was thinking it would be nice to work in a plant nursery in the good weather, have a Per Diem nursing job, have a booth in an antique mall to maintain, and also buy stuff on the cheap from Craigslist, and resell for more, after cleaning it up and/or refurbishing.

That would keep my mind from rotting and keep me engaged with the world, at my own pace.

Oh, MrChicago, how can you be creeped out by a faceless avatar when your own avatar is as featureless? But I agree, getting a default avatar of a faceless entity is kind of creepy. At least your avatar has 'personality', albeit a slightly menacing one!:woot:

I find the faceless face to be pretty creepy.

When I retire from my full time gig, I think I'll do the things I can't do now, including taking an extended motorcycle trip through Europe. Then work part time at an OP MHC.

As long as I can still ambulate, I will work. :roflmao: Just kidding. I want to be a Disney Princess. By then, they'll cast me as Ursula or something.
