What was your hardest prerequisite course?

Published

I'm completing my prerequisites for nursing school and next week I start the anatomy and physiology series. I'm a bit nervous because I've heard that sometimes people have to retake it 2 or 3 times. I wanted to know if anyone has had this experience or had any advice on this course?.

Chemistry was the absolute worst, for me.

A&P, microbiology, college algebra, statistics....shall I go on?

Seriously, I dropped A&P and college algebra quite a few times. By the time I made up my mind to tough it out, it was 7-8 years later, and I passed each with a B. Micro and Stats yielded C's, which made me feel like I'd won the lottery!:D

Statistics was my most painful. Its not math... its torture.

Stats.... glad to get it over and done with!

Personally, I struggled with A&P I, A&P II, and microbiology. I did reasonably well in the lecture portions of these classes. However, I struggled with the lab practical part of the courses since I am not a hands-on person.

Statistics and A&P I, were most difficult for me, I did not have to retake them but man they gave me a run for my money. I would suggest that at the first signs of difficulty with class seek help from Professor or a tutor. Don't wait too late. I got assistance early and this kept me in the game.

Definitely statistics for me. I got an A but it was the most confusing and annoying class I've ever taken.

Sociology, but I think it was because the class was mind-numbing and the people in the class made me nuts.

For sheer hustle, I busted my tail in A&P II, but it was the good kind of hurt.

I'm in A&P and Stats right now. I should stop reading this thread ;)

Wow! , those are two tough classes. But I know you'll be glad I've you've finished them. :)

English. The teacher and I didn't get along, especially after we went head to head on affect and effect. Also, my essays were too matter-of-fact. So I made up a very sad story about the next door neighbor who didn't return from war. I felt like an imposter but pulled out a B.
