What did you buy yourself for a graduation present

One thing that I always have a problem with is hanging on to pens. Either I put them down or loan them to someone, and then I can never tell which ones are mine..... I have been known to go through 4 pens in one shift!!!!

So as a graduation present to myself I have ordered myself personalized pens from a wholesaler that have my name, RN on them. This way I will always know which pens are mine and can go around and collect them at the end of the day, and it will be neat to see my name and new title on all of my pens. They actually don't have to be that expensive either. I got 150 ballpoint click pens in my choice of color with my choice of writing color for $85 + shipping and handling. Granted I couldn't really afford it, but I felt like doing something fun just for me to commemorate my accomplishment.

So, what did all of you do for yourself on graduation?

That sounds like a nice gift....I have a thing for pens..I'm probally the one that would collect those lost pens...lol...but what a nice idea to put your name on them..after all we did work our butts off for the tittle, so we deserve to see it too!!!

I have yet to buy my something for myself...with pinning,xmas, class dinner...I am sooooooooooo broke...but I will think of something good to buy myself soon!!!

yeah...I thankfully had no debt from school incurred so I was able to get the car I'd been eyeing for ever. Little red turbo-powered mazdaspeed miata. It's like a souped up miata for now that's my baby...if only I could give that carnote to someone else.....

Nothing. I'm too broke. I didn't even get my boyfriend a Christmas present.

But I plan on buying myself a nice sapphire ring when I get some money--something small and tasteful.

I was so happy to graduate, have a job and provide for my family. I did not buy myself anything but :) did have food and paid bills so I am guess that was my family gift.

I had taken a job out of town, so my graduation gift was bedroom furniture. My passing NCLEX gift was a nice stereo system. Been giving myself gifts ever since. LOL

Heh..I bought my graduation present 9 mos before graduation...a 2000 Mustang. :p Paid it in cash...

After my first paycheck I will buy myself more graduation presents..Not sure what yet..:) Probably maternity scrubs since I am 22 weeks pregnant. :rotfl:
