What did you buy yourself for a graduation present

Published

One thing that I always have a problem with is hanging on to pens. Either I put them down or loan them to someone, and then I can never tell which ones are mine..... I have been known to go through 4 pens in one shift!!!!

So as a graduation present to myself I have ordered myself personalized pens from a wholesaler that have my name, RN on them. This way I will always know which pens are mine and can go around and collect them at the end of the day, and it will be neat to see my name and new title on all of my pens. They actually don't have to be that expensive either. I got 150 ballpoint click pens in my choice of color with my choice of writing color for $85 + shipping and handling. Granted I couldn't really afford it, but I felt like doing something fun just for me to commemorate my accomplishment.

So, what did all of you do for yourself on graduation?

I'm GOING to buy a new digital SLR camera. As soon as I can get to the camera store. Trying to decide between the Nikon D70 and a Canon (because I've already got some trick Canon lenses).

I did it. The Nikon D70 is my new best friend.

I bought myself, my fiance, and my mom a 7-day Carnival cruise to the Mexican Riviera. We went to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas.. I just got back and it was a blast!! The best part was that nursing scholarships paid for it all! :yelclap:

I am hoping that when I graduate (lol...I am not even in the program yet but I am determined to get in!!! ;) ) That I will be able to buy myself a really nice gift but basically I am doing this for my family too, so that we don;t have to live week to week on just my hubbys paycheck so maybe we will ALL need a vacation! Good idea! Thanks... Oh and I too am a drug pen clepto...(I worked at a cardiology office and loved to see the reps come in just to get a new pen rofl)

I don't graduate until May 2005, but I have a trip planned to Sedona, Arizona for me, my sister, and my mom. All the tickets are bought, the reservations are made, and thinking about it is one of the only things getting me through this last semester!

I bought a house, a 2004 Honda Civic, and a 2005 Dodge Caravan. As you can see my family was poor and in need for the three years I was in nursing school!

Three surgeries on my wrist and 9 months off.

Hubby is Not Pleased as he thinks our current digicam works just fine (and it does), but then I reminded him about the thousands of dollars worth of muscle car he's rebuilding in the garage, so he has acquiesced. Besides, he didn't really have a choice. :p

I have a Canon Rebel Ti 35mm and I absolutely LOVE it. It's such a great camera and really easy to use. Haven't taken many bad pics since I got it.

Does anyone know Will Downing? Probably not. He's a crooner, and tons of women, around 35 years and older, love listening to him sing. I got into him around 2 years ago, when I was 23. I am beyond my years :chuckle . Anyway, I bought GREAT tickets to one of his concerts for my graduation. 4th row, which was as close as I could get. I enjoyed myself.

I want a nice ring to keep.... and i'd love a breast reduction! Have wanted one for years so when i get some money together thats what im having:)

Would love a new mini cooper too at some point, and a holiday but they will have to wait i suppose
