Hello,
I am applying for the MSN program in '15, due in December. I was wondering if anyone knew how much weight the GRE holds, in regards to being competitive? I am a little nervous about my scores not being competitive. Any advice will help!
Best regards,
I, too, am awaiting a decision for Psych. I called earlier today and the lady I spoke with was super nice and said that some of the psych decisions have gone out, but some haven't yet. She looked me up and said my profile still says awaiting decision- so don't give up hope! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one waiting, though!
Hey all,
I've been a little confused about whether this thread applies to the Vanderbilt Pre-Specialty applicants. I applied to the FNP Pre-specialty entry track a few days after the priority deadline (November 11th). Does anyone know whether any pre-specialty entry applicants have heard back? Or anyone would applied after the November 1st deadline?
Thanks!
Hi snoozyd,
She didn't say anything about when the rest will be released, but she said I could call back next week and she would check again for me. Presumably, whenever decisions are available, we will get an email, so I'm not sure that calling her would be all that useful, but if it's a week from now and we still haven't heard anything, I might be too impatient not to call back!
I think I figured out how to check our applications while we wait for them to post decisions - the URL on the screen shot GuiltyLove posted showing the admissions decision links to a page that tells me that there are no updates on my application. If you're already logged into your application it will show your name in the corner, which makes me think this is the page that we'll get linked to when they update our application statuses.

I'm pre-specialty and FNP. I received my letter last week, but that doesn't mean they won't have more. Last year Seattle University released a couple of waves of acceptance letters. Sadly, I was in neither
I applied to the FNP program for Fall 2015. I received an email this past weekend enrolling me as an applicant to another specialty (Adult-Gerontology) as well. I called today and was told that was because they thought I would be a good applicant for that program. Did this happen to anyone else? Or does anyone know of this happening previously?

Agreed, obgardner! An admin assistant that worked in my office applied to a number of NP schools for non-nurses and was turned down by all of them (including his safety schools!) EXCEPT for Johns Hopkins. So, you really never know what's going to happen with admissions offices. Hopefully, if all admissions decisions have been released, they'll get the wait list info out soon.
