I'm in NY. Wonder how other NURSES are feeling about mandatory COVID vaccination?

This I agree with.  When the two Marines were granted their exemption I was gobsmacked, and I saw this as opening the floodgate.

Yes, they were his team mates.  I'm not saying that those that have never served in the military can't discuss issues related to the military.   However, when individuals that have never served use terms they are frequently considered as perjorative.

Well, I suppose volunteering for the SEALS implies a certain willingness to die in the defense of our country, although, as a civilian, I couldn’t tell you how death or long term disability from Covid defends anything. Let’s just hope the statistics don’t catch up with them on an actual mission.

Moving forward I imagine as healthcare providers we are going to be required to get boosters in order to be considered vaccinated. At this point I think this is an important question since COVID19 appears to have become endemic. The question that should be on everybody's mind is how safe is it to get frequent boosters. Should we be getting boosters every 4 months, 6 months, every year? I am glad that there is agencies that are considering the safety of frequent boosters and the feasibility of accomplishing such tasks.

"Sissie swabbie fraud?"  First, don't call them "sissie."  As members of the Naval special warfare community they may be many things, but "sissie" isn't one of them.  And, have you served in any branch of the armed forces?  If not, you need to refrain from referring to them as "swabbie," as you haven't earned that privilege.

Bravo; While I disagree with the sailor's stance on vaccination - I do hold members of the military forces in high regard. I once spent a night on an aircraft carrier (In another life) and shipboard accommodations were anything but.

As George Orwell pointed out, people sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

I meant it to be pejorative.  That's why I used it.  This is the designation he deserves.  I can't imagine anyone in that position in the military wouldn't take one for his team.  Hopefully he will be reassigned (to swabbery:) I'm not cognizant of that what that judge's decision means in the end or if this case will be taken higher.  But I expect better from someone given this elite position.

Why do you think that we are out of pandemic status?

@Sciencedude1 you've come back and posted nonsense that got deleted, why not answer the question...why do you think the pandemic is ended and the endemic phase has begun?

Last night when I was filling up my car after 15 hours in the ER, a loud, annoying speaker thing came on at the pump.  I actually yelled at it to ****.  Then, I realized how silly I must have looked.

There is no answer to the question you posed that matters.  Only an opportunity to recycle t the same stuff, with a different twist.

This is an article I came across while going down in a rabbit home this morning.  I wish I had seen it while we had more vaccine hesitant people on this thread who didn't understand VAERS:)
