I would choose to be a respiratory therapist or a paramedic. How bout u.......
I hunt on occasion; however, I will utilise as much of the meat as possible. Even the scraps do not go to waste as they can go into a good chile. The meat does cut down on the food bills during the winter. In addition, the area where I hunt has a processing centre that turns the leftover hides into coats for homeless vets.
As for the topic at hand: I would say respiratory therapy. Oh wait, I'm already doing that...
I would go for the gigolo and professional kite surfer gig combination. If that didn't work...charter captain. People already want to pay me to take them out fishing. If anesthesia was not so fun, I would definitely be doing that now. Catching, gutting and filleting God's creatures is one of my favorite past times.
LOL, I almost fell off my chair, this should come with a warning:lol2: (From a non-hunter/fisher married to a non-hunter/fisher)
On topic, however. I really don't know what I would do if I wasn't a nurse. It is all I ever wanted to be...Hmmmm, A Stay at Home Mommy, perhaps?
Radiology, probably MRI technician. Or maybe hospital administration....so whenever I did something stupid the board would give me a new car and $100K bonus.
Outside of healthcare, probably an author. Playing guitar in front of thousands of people wouldn't be too bad either.
I could be a meteorologist as long as the only thing they asked me to do was name the hurricanes.
On the topic:
I dont know, I really am grossed out by Spit, so I couldn't be an RT. I think X-ray tech minus the lack of current jobs.
Out of health: real estate agent, I am obsessed with houses
Off the topic(hijacked hunting discussion): While some are vegetarians and I support their rights. I support my right to eat meat. I actually think that if we all stopped buying fast food and eating at those cookie cutter restaurants, less animals would be killed. I am a fan of those who hunt because I believe they are actually being thrifty and probably eating real meat, unlike what most stores serve now. Though I think that our society has become too protein based.
I personally, would absolutely love to have time to have a farm where I could grow my own vegetables/herbs. And raise chickens/eggs. Yes I would eat them. And I would hope my hubby could go fishing so we could eat that too.
In healthcare? I'd be a veterinarian. DO or pharmacist are other things I'd consider but I always wanted to be a Vet. That said, nursing suits me.
My two cents on the off-topic bit- I wish they would lighten the hunting restrictions in my area for a couple of years. I don't agree with sport hunting; ie, 'I want a big rack on my wall and the rest can rot'. Responsible hunting is another matter. Besides the fact that I live in a poor rural area where folks really could use an extra deer or so, we have a big problem with overpopulation. They hurt the local organic farms, they are starving, and they litter the sides of the highway. I'm a practical person- it would serve everyone better if the population was smaller and healthier. Better in my mind to provide food then to die of starvation or to be hit by a car.

I would choose PA, if I didn't want to continue in nursing anymore, even as an advanced practice nurse.
