In healthcare, I'd be a Pharmacist. Outside of healthcare, either an author or an editor...I'm a stickler for spelling, grammar, etc, and routinely pick out typo's in books, ads, on billboards, etc. I wonder how some things get/got past the ACTUAL editor, sometimes....

Hahaha - I could have written this. It's sort of a curse, isn't it? I cringe at typos and misspellings and poor grammar and sentence structure.

Any other job, where I had a chance to play power dressing:). Since in this, I must remain in a cocoon( scrubs), then in another, I want a chance to become a butterfly( dress-up).

In medicine...CT or MRI tech. No muss, no fuss. Get 'em in and out.
Outside of medicine...run either a small hotel or a bar in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, or any where along the Mayan Riviera...maybe Tulum or Punta Allen. Live in Pamuul in my palapa, and spend my time living with and meeting interesting and fun people. Help out at the pet shelter in Playa. Maybe learn to weave bracelets and sell them to tourists on the beach for kicks.
Guess which one I've put more thought into.
TAKE ME WITH YOU!!

It IS a curse, for sure...luckily, my sister is the exact same way, so I have someone to vent to when I see something that makes me twitch.
We have a couple surgeons that always spell "Vicodin" wrong (seriously...you write it multiple times a DAY, how do you not know???). One (who is no longer working at my hospital, he moved to another state) I got spelling it correctly, he laughed when I told him..."in 20 years, no one has ever told me it was wrong!" I think he spelled it "Vicodan." He always got it right after that, and I knew he would not be upset at my pointing that out to him (he was one that we had a big 50th bday party for, once you've done shots together, anything goes, lol).
The other I wouldn't say anything to, he's a cocky thing. But seeing his scripts time and time again saying "Vicoden" makes me want to cry a little.
YES! I work for a physician who also happens to be an abysmal speller, but he is so cool that I just tease him about it and he laughs with me. He doesn't try to fix it though... buggar.

At least you guys can joke about it :)
I was doing a computer-based educational module at work the other night, and whoever created the PowerPoint used the term "irregardless." I wanted to stab myself in the eye.
