We got an OD pt with respiratory arrest (takes Lortabs and Morphine for sickle cell anemia pain). Gave Narcan and the pt promptly woke up and asked for narcs for pain... Umm.. No.

considering some of the things my mom and I have found in the scrabble dictionary, I should have thought spork would be there.

I had a few 'scratches' that they thought needed stitches..

I also came to the conclusion that the least fav pts are the middle aged mama boys, with mama hovering over the bed. N retired nurse.. Heat the NS.. Oy

In his defense, I really felt bad for the guy. I didn't ask but he lost everything and was pretty much forced into moving back with mom. Mom was very high strung and every time he moved his foot she sprung out of the chair and got in his face are u ok what's wrong.

She kept flying out of the room to grab us like he stopped breathing.

Right? Lol. I felt like telling him many men may want to trade him spots. I think he ended up having a UTI. But I've never heard of a UTI that makes your genitals grow hahha.
