Hi,
To everyone who passed recent nclex-rn, can you please share what helped you best (cd's, printed materials, etc..) ? Where to focus? and how did you study/prepare?
thanks... this will help a lot of us who are scheduled to take the exams soon
I have my NCLEX-PN on August 15th. I have already read the Kaplan review once and would like to read it through again. I am so nervous because every test that I take from my CD's I can not get better than a 54%...so I am worried that is showing me how I am going to be doing on the test.
Any tips?
hi allI am taking nclex on aug 1, and i took complete kaplan course. so far my scores are tariner 1 58%, tainer#2 50%, trainer#3 51%, qbank 58%. I still have four more trainers left. I am very cofused because of my trainer score. Should i wait until i finish my tariner 7 or reschdule nclex?
Hi Paula,Im doing the Kaplan thing, hope it works! I passed the pre-nclex with a higher score than national average so I feel fairly confidant, but still nervous. Good luck to ya.
I think the Kaplan is a waste of time money and energy. I spent so much for the course, only listened to the instructors loud mouth and his constant repetition of the words " Read the Question, read the Question" If you cant deduce the right answer how many times can u read that question.
I took another review course and i passed with 75 questions

I have come to the conclusion...that it is the Kaplan instructor that makes the difference. My instructor was terrific, she gave us terrific tips along with the kaplan strategies and I passed with 75 questions.....as did most in her class.
A good book on test taking skills would help more that all the clinical review in the world. I know more nurses who failed the first time from test anxiety than knowlage deficit. Once they were more prepaired for the experience the passed without a hitch. This isn't to say if you feel you are weak in one or two areas a little review wouldn't hurt but I've never understood how someone can "review" 3-4 years of material.
hi! almost everyone is saying that KAPLAN is good. but is it the same for all its international branches? like, are the courses that some of you suggested also available here (question trainer, etc)? There's a KAPLAN review center here in Phil, i think their system is just to have you watch video-taped discussions and also answer test questions.
Can some one please tell me how i can pass hesi i have study over and over but i still can't get pass 873 i need help last chance to pass
Hi,
I have used the HESI NCLEX book w/ CD and the online practice case studies. I had to do three exit exams and I did very well with 960, 1030, 1047! I am currently reviewing with Kaplan for the NCLEX. Good luck!
