QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

There may be a case against the police officer. But that she was just innocently standing there and the police decided to shoot her indiscriminately I don't believe. The article called her a rioter.
With the mass pardon and the elevation of the protestors as patriots and victims is indeed a false narrative.

Hopefully the family got $1.00. It is difficult to find video's of the shooting but the crowd in her particular area of the riot had weapons and were breaking glass to gain entrance into the Senate chambers. I'm sorry that things had to come to that but Officer Byrd shot for the protection of the people in the room.

Not today's news, but I just heard about this. The 60 Minutes episode that Trump is so twitterpated about has been nominated for an Emmy. For outstanding edited interview.

QuoteIt got "60 Minutes" sued by the man who became president of the United States. Now it's up for a major award — for precisely the same aspect of it that so enraged Donald Trump.
Last fall's "60 Minutes" story on Kamala Harris — the subject of Trump's $20 billion lawsuit against CBS — was nominated for an Emmy Award Thursday for "outstanding edited interview.” Trump, in his lawsuit, complained that the interview was deceptively edited to make his Democratic election opponent look good.
