QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

I guess that those killers had some beef with a transman and decided that it would be fun to torture and kill him. Maybe that rhetoric should be toned down somewhat.
Well, there was no change after Matthew Shepherd and Brandon Teena, hard to imagine they'll start now.

I don't know, that's why I asked. You seems to not have an answer.
Harsher sentences for people who commit crimes againts LGBTQ ? Some sort of extra punishment? Oh well good news, there are hate crime laws.
So what is it?

Respect and kindness.
Getting past the idea that there are only two genders. Allowing them the respect to change their genders, support them, call them by the gender they say they are, and promote an environment of kindness, understanding and support rather than an environment where they are reviled to the point of murder, suicide, poverty and prostitution. Stuff like that.
Yes, we are nurses and understand that (other than a few cases) people are born male or female, this is how the species survives, no need to point that out. Transpeople were born either male or female. I get that too.
QuoteProtests are set to take place in several major cities across the U.S. on Monday, the Presidents Day holiday, according to activists.
These demonstrations are being organized by the 50501 Movement, which stands for "50 protests. 50 states. 1 movement." The protests are a response to what organizers describe as "the anti-democratic and illegal actions of the Trump administration." This marks the second nationwide protest by the group, following an event held on Feb. 5.
The protests follow a series of executive orders signed by President Trump, including actions led by billionaire Elon Musk, which have been criticized for their aims to diminish the role of the federal government.
Some pushback.

Why do we need to get past the fact, er idea,, that there are two genders?
If some identifies as a giraffe, do they need help or do they just need the rest of us to make their life as a giraffe easier?

Again Crusades proves that they aren't a nurse. Anyone who has taken a physiology course knows that all humans carry both estrogen and androgen. We are a living lab for homone balance where things can go wrong. Any endocrinologist would say the same thing. I don't know why people get their panties in a wad over this since statistically, we are destined to have normal variations in the delicate balance. Having said this, I do know that former men should not be competing with females in anything else except chess and golf:)

This actually makes some sense and is a thought on the subject I haven't heard or thought of before. Even though I am a nurse. I'm even rethinking the post I made above.
I don't know why people have to go with the "if you really were a nurse...." route, but I digress.
Men golfers actually drive the ball longer vs woman golfers of the same level. So, can't include golf in your list.

Rhetoric is MAGA's nutrition. They would be wandering clueless without it. Poor Sam. An uneasy life and an awful death.
