I was on my phone on my lunch break, and my phone doesn't default to the end of a thread, so I thought I hit the button to the end of the thread, and not sure where that quote came from but I must have been thinking it had something to do with Kennedy. So my apologies for bring up an old post.
But I do stand by the idea that Democrats do care about Obamacare, and they are hoping against its demise under Trump.

House Republicans released a budget blueprint on Feb. 12 that orders the Energy and Commerce Committee, which oversees Medicare and Medicaid, to find $880 billion in savings from fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
Basically Republicans are looking to fully cut the annual budget of Medicaid in the next 9 years. They apparently want to run both programs on half the money.
