QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

You have nothing to back up "half the nation supported attempted murder". 1/3 of eligible voters voted for Trump's opponent. That does not equate to hateful rhetoric.
NurseManFlorida said:Thomas is easily the most brilliant legal mind on the Supreme Court and has large shoes to fill. He isn't easily replaceable.
As evidenced by all the freebies he's accepted from his rich supporters.

Who told you that and why would even believe something that can never be proved? Florida man, indeed.

Each day we see more and more violence from the left wing. United Healthcare CEO murdered in broad daylight and liberals rejoice. Now we have liberals celebrating the assault on women's rights activist Nancy Mace.

HIs gifts pale in comparison to RBG who died with a net worth 7x that of Clarence Thomas and was usually found globetrotting on billionaires' dimes.

That doesn't negate that he took generous gifts from people with interests before the court, and failed to report many.
Chris Cuomo's podcast with guest Charlie Sykes. I've only listened to the first half hour, but so far, it's been an Interesting discussion.

I think people are giving him nice things so that he won't come after him. To quote Jamelle Bouie on BlueSky:
Quotethey are giving trump the goodies he wants so that he feels like a big boy and doesn't turn the state against them qz.com/donald-trump...
I don't believe anyone has accused Trump of communism.

The data is published in case you are interested in accuracy. Thomas has accepted approximately 4 million while RBG accepted 400,000. There isn't another justice that is even NEAR to what Thomas has taken. No one.

It's not quite that cut and dry.
Reminds me of Cuomo's quote in that podcast I linked to. When talking about Biden not being as bad as Trump, he said " just because you're not as bsd doesn't mean you're good."
The same applies here.
