QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

I agree it'll never happen.
The rest of your post, I'm not following.

For the record, I am not trying to body-shame Mrs. Trump. She is a beautiful woman.
They do not like the United States and hesitated to congratulate Trump because he's from a country that is part of NATO and helping Ukraine. Trump apparently called Putin privately to warn him not to escalate the war with Ukraine. Wonder if the talked about the insult to his wife?
Putin is a very dangerous man.

Who are "they"? I remember reading over and over it was almost a tie and could swing either way. I don't remember widespread thoughts that he couldn't win the popular vote.
Obviously it wound up not being almost a tie but a clear rebuke of the Democrats.
There was much discussion in 2016 that he won the presidency without the popular vote. But ahead of this election I never heard that he wasn't going to win the popular vote. Then again, I think we don't follow the same new sources and I did make a deliberate attempt and avoiding the news leading up to the election so maybe I missed it.

Maybe I was confusing it with the several times people said he lost the popular vote when discussing end the electoral college? As I understand Republicans usually do not win the popular vote. Last time was Bush. Not sure before that. Apparently he has the most Republican lati9n vote since the 70s.
Hispanics have largely favored Democrats for decades, but Trump's share this year was the highest for a Republican presidential candidate in exit polls going back to the 1970s

Right. The Hispanic vote gain was interesting. Again, I'm hearing it was about the economy for them and they don't like communists (Cubans). Also they went through legal channels and like the rest of us don't like illegals at the border.
I think the queer community and women are two demographics that didn't turn.

The he received more of the black vote for a republican since Ford. And, more of the age18-29 since Bush in 2004.
And, gained ground with women too.

Fair enough, Trump gained in demographics that through him over the edge to victory. Exit polls are one thing, and while Trump gained with women, I'm reading that it was a slight gain, but a gain is a gain and a win is a win.
Harris received the same number of white voters that Biden did. Maybe I should rephrase what I said to the only demographic that didn't turn was white voters and queer voters. Albiet Trump got 60% of the white vote. LOL
He still remains unpopular with the totality of black voters and the majority of women.
Harris couldn't shake off the legacy of the last four years with all demographics.
One thing I see, it that Democrats are looking at "what happened and what we can do". Republicans like MTG four years ago wore a mask "Trump Won" and it was we have to stop the steal and voter fraud. LOL
QuoteFormer President Donald Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris to become the next U.S. president, NBC News projected, but he didn't do so with the help of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender voters.
LGBT voters shifted even more solidly into the Democratic camp this year, according to the NBC News Exit Poll. Harris led President-elect Trump 86% to 12% among LGBT voters, the poll found. That's a 15-point change from 2020, when Trump won 27% of the LGBT vote against Biden.

Seems kind if weird. Trump is apparently the white supremist vote but he didn't turn the white vote. LOL
Does that mean he's not the vote if white supremacists anymore? LOL
MTG is a twit. She's the embarrassing although entertaining aunt at holiday dinners. Because everyone avoids going anywhere in public with her.
Sarcasm too.

You're going to have to elaborate as I'm not going to read that book. Thanks.
