Things you would love to say to your fellow nursing students!

Published

Along the lines of the first thread, "Things you would love to say to your nursing instructors" I thought this would be a great thread to start. I've since graduated LVN but there was one main thing I wanted to say to some students in my class.

Will you people in the back row please stop talking! I swear that today I can still hear their motormouths running! :chuckle

When I am in the RN bridge I will come back and post some more. I'm sure some of you have something to get off your chest. Come on and unload here! :)

some people have great audiogenic recall and can remember what was said in lecture without reading over it 20,000 times.. just sayin.. hah reading over things doesnt really help me at all.

That may be but we don't have any lecture so that wouldn't apply to my "nonstudying" classmates.

Specializes in CNA, Psych tech, ED tech, Basic EMT.

We're heading into our final semester, and the loudmouth student in the back STILL thinks you can swallow your tongue during a seizure!!! UGH! PLEASE don't ever be my nurse! >.

Specializes in cardiac-telemetry, hospice, ICU.

Yes, I know the clinical instructor likes you. Yes, I know she gave you extra duties because you are so proficient. Yes, I know you are the second Florence. I must thank you for increasing my understanding of mental health by teaching me first hand just how self centered and ANNOYING someone can be!

Stop rolling your eyes at people behind their backs! that's just plain rude...

I thought once we graduated from high school and into a University that there would be no more cliches, the cool crowd, the loners, the bullies, the backstabbing. Sadly it's just the same playground troubles but with a lot bigger kids!

Specializes in Psych.

Seeing I just graduated

To each of my clinical groups:

I am going to miss each and everyone of you. Good luck with the NCLEX and it will be a pleasure if I get to work with any of you in the future.

I'm not happy you failed but I'm not surprised either.

This is to all those know it all people who yell out answers in class or try to finish the Prof. sentence, who mutter under their breath, are beyond cocky, think they are better than you, have all the answers and best of all who critized me!!! I have a few choice words but I will be proffesional ...HA HA HA I've moved to the next level...SEE YA!!!

Specializes in Emergency Dept. Trauma. Pediatrics.

Stop going around and peeing in everyone's cheerios. I realize you are a miserable unhappy and bitter person. But to go into everyone's happy threads to spout your negativity only looks poorly on you. If you are so unhappy and miserable with your situation/life get up and fix it.

Specializes in Oncology/hematology.

When you see that i've come early to the classroom and am reading notes, don't come up and ask "what are you doing", and when I say "studying" don't brush it off and call me crazy, that we have ages till the test--- I know YOU go home at the end of the day and review EVERYTHING, and YOU understand everything in class-- but I don't--- so please don't belittle my attempt at studying.

I'm just wondering if some of y'all were in my nursing class! LMAO!

Funny, we've got a guy like that. He is constantly bragging about how he never studies. But, what he doesn't realize everyone knows is that he hasn't even passed the last 2 semesters. The instructors have allowed him to pass even without the minimum grade.

His wife is the nurse manager of a unit where we do clinical. That is the only reason we can figure that explains this BS.
