  1. Thank you. I'll wait and see if she does anything else. But yes, that is basically what she's doing.
  2. So up until recently I was in home health. I have always pretty much enjoyed it, but my last experience soured me to it. The mother didn't like me, I guess, though I honestly don't know why as I did everything she asked. After I moved to a town much further away I gave my two weeks notice. Then she sent in a complaint to my agency saying I was not doing my job. The things she was accusing me of just aren't true. When my agency tried to find me another job, she was friends with that mother and told her not to hire me because I was a "horrible nurse." Its been horrible. Even now that I'm not working for her anymore she won't leave me alone! How do I move on past this? This is the first time in my nursing career anything like this has happened to me.
  3. By the way, i got a lot of sata questions, too. And i shut off at 85.
  4. I took the test today and got the good pop up!! I should find out for sure on Wednesday!!!
  5. I'm just wondering if some of y'all were in my nursing class! LMAO!
  6. Actually, Kolorbug, i found it to be the opposite. LOL!!! The beginning was tough. And i won't deny second semester was tougher, but that was from the class load. By third semester, i was much more confident. But as for the instructors being tough, really it was first semester that they were the toughest. As you continue on, you seem to gain respect more and more. But that was just my experience. Congrats to all of you for getting in!! It will be the hardest year of your life, but it will also be the best.
  7. I just finished, and if you don't mind, i have some advice! First, don't miss unless you absolutely have to. You will end up missing valuable information because they put so much into one year. Second, find a study partner! Study with someone or a group of someones, not alone! Third, buy some extra books! You are going to want the Nursing Diagnosis Handbook. Along with the drug book you're going to get it will be your BIBLE. Finally, make sure you read a little every night. You are going to get stressed. You are going to cry. You are going to want to pull your hair out at times. And most of all, you are going to want to give up and quit. Don't. I promise, its worth it. Good luck! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
  8. Definitely take A&P before. I took it before i started and it made first semester so much easier!
