Things you would love to say to your fellow nursing students!

Published

Along the lines of the first thread, "Things you would love to say to your nursing instructors" I thought this would be a great thread to start. I've since graduated LVN but there was one main thing I wanted to say to some students in my class.

Will you people in the back row please stop talking! I swear that today I can still hear their motormouths running! :chuckle

When I am in the RN bridge I will come back and post some more. I'm sure some of you have something to get off your chest. Come on and unload here! :)

Please submit your part on time. Please. I hate group papers, as you do, but we're stuck together so be a team player, please.

"shut up, no one gives a flying french toast about how every family member of yours in the history of life happens to have every ******* condition we talk about it class, find a muzzle or some duct tape and wear it"..Sincerely, the entire class

Yep, we're all dirty dogs

How is them surfing their facebook stopping you from listening to the lecture? If you are lisenting to the lecture, you wouldnt know what they are doing on their laptop.

That's what I'm wondering... And exactly. :uhoh3:

As far as flickering, we have class with the lights on and even during the times we've had the lights dimmed, it doesn't bother me.

Enough with the drama. I love how the study group with tutor was top secret for the entire first 3/4 of the semester until you wanted my money. I told you I wasn't going and paying anyone to tutor me, yet you still threw a fit when I didn't go.

No, I don't want to go out with you on the weekends. I can hardly stand you in class.

I'm sorry, I cannot relate to you. You live at home with your husband, kids, mommy and daddy and you've never held a job. Your husband doesn't work either, that's interesting.

I know someone else is raising your children but I raise my own. So, no, I can't stay out till all hours of the night and run off to go shopping at every whim.

I'm sick of listening to you whine about how worried you are about every test when I'm pretty sure you're cheating.

And once and for all, stop lying. Everyone is on to you. You tell stories that are so bizarre, only a total idiot would believe you. Birds of a feather...

I wanna sleep with you, you, you and you!

:yeah:

Stop posting every #$%& grade on FB. I've hidden feeds for a reason, so I do not appreciate you posting your grade onmy wall, then following it with questioning mine.

I was always flabbergasted by the complete lack of respect of students who ask other students about their grades.

To me, personally, this was always the most offensive faux pas a fellow classmate could make.

I had to laugh out loud and shake my head when I read this.

It takes a special arrogance for someone to post their grade on your wall!

And then to ask your grade???

So shockingly bad that it's funny!

My response to "I got a XX% what is your grade?" was always I did fine, or I made the 75% mark (our passing line). When that was not sufficient, these individuals would actually ask the other students who sit near me what my grade was (they didn't believe me how obsessed certain people were with MY grades!) of course they were lucky to remember their own grade never mind mine. One classmate nearly tripped over herself trying to eavesdrop on a conversation with my instructor regarding my NLN & ATI scores!

Perhaps this person should have been more interested in studying rather then worrying whether or not I might mess up the "curve" (there was no curve and only once was a question thrown out when two texts had conflicting information (one book was more current than the other))

Stop looking at my notes and copying it word for word as I'm still writing it.

Just shut up!!!!!!

that test was *not* hard, seriously. Have no clue how we had so many D's and F's.

And yes, I actually did *ace* it, thanks for asking on my wall and forcing me to delete it.

OMG, how many times do we have to go through this? I don't discuss my grades. I've been rocking the exams and I'm not going to discuss my grades with you when I know you did poorly - No point in making you feel worse. Just the same, I don't want to know you did great when I did bad on an exam after being hospitalized for two days, mmmkay???

Hate is a pretty strong word, but there is a small group of you guys that I'm pretty close to hating. How many more things can you screw up for us (and by us, I mean the entire class!!) Ugh, I'm hoping ya'll were some of the twelve F's on that last exam and we won't have to deal with your stupidity as we move further through the program!!

Um, No. I'm not showing you my care plan. I'd be happy to help you, but I don't trust you not to copy it and frankly, I don't want to look bad in front of our instructors - I already walk on thin ice from having prior nursing experience.
