I confess to back pedaling into Trump territory when I wanted to leave discussions about him in the garbage can. My thread on the read-only break room site has 9,600 replies so I thought I'd bring up a new one.

Haberman's book is out based on interviews. I won't read it, but the excerpts are interesting. Especially what he says about McConnell, a description that's against the Terms of Service here, but I actually don't disagree with. LOL

I am reading quite a bit of chatter on X-Twitter about his stated weight of 215 pounds. It is obviously false, but I think it illustrates perfectly how a pathological narcissist will lie about the most inane things to demonstrate superiority.
I also see talk about how he must have practiced that scowl in the mirror and how much it looks like Ben Stiller in Zoolander, doing his Blue Steel look. At least he's not shirtless on the back of a horse.

It's an example of the "Kubrick stare" that made Kubrick's over the top bad guys memorable. Think Jack Nicholson in The Shining.
Like I said previously, Trump is like a caricature of a literary bad guy. A cartoon version.

Checking Zillow just now, showed Mar A Largo offmarket, worth, 24 million.
My neighborhood with recent home sales as Seniors died/moved. Surprised that homes around me going for $400-500,000+ in our blue-collar worker bee area. My single son said he can't afford any home in our town on his 60,000yr salary.
To me this follows on the "if it sounds to crazy to be true, it probably isn't". I would have stopped to think and await further verification for get all self-righteous on X.
That being said real estate in certain parts of Florida is gangbusters. My ex and I bought my home in 2000 for $150,000. Zillow is listing it today as having a value of $518,000 and that's the lowest value on my street. It says it's lost $16,000 in value the last 30 days. I wish I could sell and take the profits but where would I move that wouldn't equally cost as much. My retirement advisor says to sell it when I need to go into assisted living and that would pay for it. It needs work so very doubtful I'd get that much for it. I'm not even sure I want to retire in Florida anymore. We'll see.
Anyway the Mara-Largo property must be worth a pretty penny compared to the original cost. The way his legal fees are going he might need to sell one day.

I wonder how long Mar-A-Lago Inc has listed the resort Mar-A-Lago LLC as a property asset. It's easy to suspect that the Trump family is not being straightforward or honest, dishonesty is the standard from them.

That's an awfully large error. And the price difference between the reportedly price and the value is eye-popping. I wonder where those numbers came from.
It's not like the Trump family has never been "incorrect" about real estate or business deals.
