I confess to back pedaling into Trump territory when I wanted to leave discussions about him in the garbage can. My thread on the read-only break room site has 9,600 replies so I thought I'd bring up a new one.
He's not going away.
Haberman's book is out based on interviews. I won't read it, but the excerpts are interesting. Especially what he says about McConnell, a description that's against the Terms of Service here, but I actually don't disagree with. LOL

What if it was the dreaded Trump vs Biden match-up, what if at a campaign stop Joe sniffed some little girls hair, than invited her to play with the hair on his legs, and followed that up with him trying to kiss her mom.

No, I don't see the correlation at all. What I see is a conservative man quibbling over whether or not forced lady partsl penetration with a digit rather than a member qualifies as rape.
I see someone making an effort to diminish the factual evidence of Trump's sexually aggressive and abusive behavior and conduct in much the same way that his attorneys just did. The judge shot that down pretty forcefully, don't you think?
Maybe you don't see the evidence that the Trump voting base will enthusiastically equivocate or abandon their pre-Trump beliefs and values and goals to follow his agenda.
We could go back to speculating about Biden lying about a stutter.
