Haberman's book is out based on interviews. I won't read it, but the excerpts are interesting. Especially what he says about McConnell, a description that's against the Terms of Service here, but I actually don't disagree with. LOL

Bullies resort to name calling only when their not sure of themself. He can dish it out but afraid to debate one-on -one without an audience.
Able to get a parking spot just 2 city blocks from Temple's Liacouras Center this afternoon...only to stand in waiting line 2 more blocks to get thru metal detectors.--worse than when I was there for Hillary in 2016. Venue holds 10,000 for basketball/events --12,000+packed in.
Can only imagine Trumps language tonight after seeing this rally comparison:

He really looked unwell.
He does look old and unwell. More importantly, he sounds mentally ill and cognitively challenged. It's an interesting twist that team Trump worked so hard to focus the attention of the voters and the press on the appearance of a faltering mental status only to result in Trump showing the world what actual mental and cognitive decline looks and sounds like.
I wonder if Trump is aware of the recent polling and that's why he was so triggered by the question about crowd size.
It was interesting that when the media asked Trump about his slowed campaign schedule he seemed confused and unsure how to answer. One has to wonder if Trump is fearful about large outdoor rallies after a young man tried to kill him in an important ("battleground") state. Is Trump worried about security and concerned that he can't safely pull in large crowds anymore? He clearly was making stuff up about the democratic convention.
I'm so surprised that so many media outlets covered that circus live. It's like they didn't learn anything about free TV time for despots in the previous elections.

He was never in a helicopter with Willie Brown, it was Jerry Brown, and the helicopter was never at risk of crashing, although Trump voiced concern that it would. And according to Gavin Newsom, who was also on the flight, there was no talk of Harris.
According to another source, Trump was possibly adding details from a past incident where a helicopter crash took the lives of 3 Trump company executives. Trump was supposed to be on the flight, but canceled last minute.

I'm surprised he wasn't eaten by Biden's cannibal relative (Uncle ?) in the jungle where and when the helicopter almost crashed. Turns out the cannibal didn't want to eat him because he smelled so bad. The source of this story was Tichie Bimplebean who has no newspaper affiliation.
