I confess to back pedaling into Trump territory when I wanted to leave discussions about him in the garbage can. My thread on the read-only break room site has 9,600 replies so I thought I'd bring up a new one.

Haberman's book is out based on interviews. I won't read it, but the excerpts are interesting. Especially what he says about McConnell, a description that's against the Terms of Service here, but I actually don't disagree with. LOL

Are you saying that Harris Faulkner didn't get a chance to question Trump? If so, you should really watch the video because she got words in. Trump did seem to want to focus his attention on rudely addressing one of the women, that didn't seem to go well for him. He must have decided that she needed to take the brunt of his emotional wrath for the delay about fact checking. He wrapped his lies about the reason the event started late in personal attacks on one of the black women journalists.
That's right. Trump has created an image of himself as a racist with his words and deeds over the decades. His history colors his current actions and utterances. When Trump refuses to show up to events or guides instead of answering tough questions, his reputation and known stances are used to evaluate him and his policy. Other people get to tell the story of Trump when he won't.
Oh... you believed Trump's explanation for the delay. Of course, the real reason the event was delayed is because Trump threatened to not take questions at all if he was going to be fact checked. He then realized that backing out at the last minute wouldn't allow him to create that narrative about the sound system and would make him look weak. It was nice of the journalists to not start out by fact checking that specific lie at the beginning.
The journalists didn't ask more questions of Trump because his team shut down the questions and hurried him out of the disastrous campaign stop. The journalists had more questions they wanted to ask, team Trump said no.
Trump definitly looked crazy, weak, and weird during that Q&A.

Agree, this is what Democracy is, advocating for your candidate and advocating against the other guy. And you don't stop until the last day.
At the end of it all Democracy decides, you accept the results and you move on.
I suppose we should be encouraged by a "let Democracy decide" from a person voting for a candidate and followers that could not let Democracy decide in 2020. Weird.
