Just a bit ago the top three threads involved:
1.I have a DWI. Can I be a nurse?
2.I am stupid. Can I be a nurse?
3.If it takes me five times to pass NCLEX, Can I be nurse.
Not much left to add. Says it all.

An LPN cannot work in Labor and Delivery or in ICU. Their education and scope make it so.
I know that there are areas that do utilize LPNs in ICU, but that is a short sided decision. I would never work with an LPN in ICU, who has a patient assignment, and have my own assignment to be responsible for.
Too much responsibilty and accountability for me and my license.

I think it is important to make your decision about whether or not to be a nurse on other peoples opinions...that's what really counts! Now on to me...why are all my clinical instructors so mean! It's like they want me to improve or something...geez it's so annoying! Should I just quit or should I report her to the BON?????
HEEELLLLLPPPP!!!
OMG. I have a chem test tomorrow so I need you all to pray for me. I am failing all my classes. EVERYBODY at my school is failing all their classes too so it's not just me. It's the teachers. They won't tell us the answers to the tests. Biotches. So you all have to help me to pass my test tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just noticed this!
Na+
K+
Cl- (!)
I thought that Cl- was a mistake? Maybe it's not? But now I can see when I flip through my chem book that they always write it that way!!!!!! What does the "-" mean? Does it matter if I put the little "+" or the little "-"? I've just been putting in the little "+" because I can't remember to change it around all the time.

My favorite is: "I am a pre nursing student who just started on prereqs. How much does a CRNA make a year? What do you do with all that money"
How about we get INTO nursing school first......
