Omg. You ppl are so mean? why older nurses being mean to new nurses. i came here to ask if u know anything about a medicine i have to make a med card on. i dont remember the name its like amidorne or amoxicllln. lol close enough right? i came here to get encourgemant because i want 2b a ER nurse. i m getting my bsn becuz adn's don't know anything and i am just goona say it older nurses r jealous bcuz bsn's r smarter and i think they should prolly quit theyre job and face it.

Classmate: I don't like touching the human body. I want to work in the OR.

Preceptor: :confused: You should probably re-think this career choice.

I had a patient in triage the other day who said he had always wanted to be an RN. He said "I'm not particularly smart but I have read a lot of Stephen King novels and am good with my hands". I did not really want to know where he was headed with that comment! So maybe nursing and serial killers have a lot in common ?????

I don't know why it is, but there's something almost irresistible about that comment - I'd have to let them at least try!! That says more about me than it does about the patient doesn't it? Oh well.....

People! I thought nurses were supposed to be CARING!!! I can't believe you don't have more compassion for stupid people that drink and drive!!!! Nurses aren't supposed to be so judgmental!!! How dare you!! I would hate for any of you to take care of me! No wonder people say that nurses eat their young!!Drunk drivers and stupid people, please know that at least someone here believes in you!!!!!! (5x NCLEX takers, y'all have plenty of people in that other thread that believe in you.)

Nursing is so mean! I had to work valentine eve! How was I to make myself beautiful for the Holiday if I don't have time to prepare?! My boyfriend might propose. Nursing is so unfair about holidays. "sniffle"

oh! that reminds me:

i don't have social security card, or a visa, or any form of identification. i have 2 weeks of nursing school in [color=#343434]pszczyna. i don't speak english so i got a friend to type this for me. i am trying to get into nursing school at unc or johns hopkins or nyu. i really don't want to go to some secondary school.

i was wondering if you all could send me 20 dollars so i can get a haircut? i really think that is why i am being turned down.
