When people post nonsense that is contradictory to sound scientific or public health principles I'm going to point it out. It serves no good purpose to coddle the trolls whose only objective here is to so confusion, disagreement and division. Posting political nonsense under the guise of nursing happened here in 2016 too. Those people told us conservatives would rather die than vote for a liberal or worse yet, Hillary for president. And here we are...

There are many thoughtful conservatives who are ever Trumpers a few more have jumped ship the past 2 weeks. Trump was always pro-choice and pro single payor until the wealthiest evangelicals decided to make a deal with the devil. Since he's increasingly unraveling, the country is finding out what NY already knew.

Philadelphia PA already knew too after his mismanagement of NJ casino's and bilking contractors out of pay.

Word and Amen. I see no reason to have a professional board spammed and packed with tripe just to ease the delicate sensibilities of those who for some abandoned logic, despite everything in front of our eyes, can't bear any criticism of the thing they voted for.

And we warned you which is why I became a Lincoln Project Republican (https://lincolnproject.us) when it was clear that thing was going to get the nom. Many people have since joined steadily over the past 3 years watching in horror as our military intelligence was given to Putin, Helinsky, emoulments violations, corrupt know-nothings assigned to chair critical agencies, the constant insult and attack on our allies, willful division the gutting and destruction of the State Dept, Ukraine, his talentless overindulged children all over the WhiteHouse, William Barr, Roger Stone, attacks on our best and brightest like Vindman and Captain Cozier, , regular Saturday night massacres and firings of independent investigators, uising the treasury like a family cash cow fund, even without getting into COVID which per latest headlines are now on a path of just under half a million deaths by December.

Small wonder President Disgusting and Mike Dunce are instructing hospitals to bypass the CDC and give the WH the data.

OMG. To say nothing of trying to hijack Covid statistics away from CDC directly to WH! We will never make progress if we don't know where we are. I'm not opening a strong drink yet because I don't think he is allowed to usurp public health laws and this is just a lot of huffing and puffing. He thinks he is Maduro and flexing his tiny little fists. To the folks who deride us nurses here who are political, we are only having thus discussion because politics has dictated health care policy.

Our country dies have a hopelessly political influence in its health policy.

We still tell people they should be eating lots of carbs 6x a day with an obesity epidemic. LOL, God forbid your blood sugar drop and you metabolize fat.

If we can’t get something as simple as nutrition right because of corn, sugar, and flour lobbies, what hope do we have of getting anything right?
