True. Yet the sad irony is that had they just done what they should have : distanced, worn masks and refrained from what they should have: thrownng crowded protests and harassing Govenors trying to do the right thing by insisting they open prematurely and throwing out all common sense just to please the Great MAGA demagogue, then they might have saved small businesses, the health sector and the economy. Sadly, what they did was ensure the demise of both.

they are entering phase 3. which is the real test. there is no guarantee of anything. not trying to be a raincloud but I want people to be realistic at the same time.

We know how bad it's going to get. It's going to be catastrophic and given the past several months that is no small statement. We're looking at over a quarter million deaths by November now, for the love of Christ. I guess 20,000+ new cases a day will do that. And the lesson for the mask rejecting re-opening mafia is that science/viruses don't care what your politics are. Changes not one thing. should you look into the world of clinical trials, what they've got is a vaccine that produces an immune response. The next phase (3) is what determines if that response is sufficient to make enough antibodies and prevent infection in humans. And that is a heck of a ways from a given right now., Wear a mask and distance already.

Are you saying it was OK to just give up and let Covid take out what will probably be millions of Americans because there's heavy people around? if so maybe you'd want to rethink that one.

I know you must be joking.

It's very interesting that this just happens to coincide with todays headlines that are saying the models are now projecting 240,000 COVID 19 deaths by end November givne the latest infections in fl, nc, ga, tx, etc. Does anyone else remember when "only" 60,000 deaths was supposed to be an accomplishment?

Many people have since joined steadily over the past 3 years watching in horror as our military intelligence was given to Putin, Helinsky, emoulments violations, corrupt know-nothings assigned to chair critical agencies, the constant insult and attack on our allies, willful division the gutting and destruction of the State Dept, Ukraine, his talentless overindulged children all over the WhiteHouse, William Barr, Roger Stone, attacks on our best and brightest like Vindman and Captain Cozier, , regular Saturday night massacres and firings of independent investigators, uising the treasury like a family cash cow fund, even without getting into COVID which per latest headlines are now on a path of just under half a million deaths by December. Small wonder President Disgusting and Mike Dunce are instructing hospitals to bypass the CDC and give the WH the data.
