Today all the families brought in food for teacher appreciation week. MAN, What a spread! I work in a school with Central American, South American, Russian, Cambodian, Dominican, Haitian, Several African countries...incredible delicious and amazing dishes all the families prepared for us. I'll admit I love food and am extremely adventurous!

I just inhaled I don't even know what but YUM!!

Jealous!!! As I'm snacking on saltines right now! But on Friday, we are all getting subs from the local sub shop that the PTA is supplying for teacher appreciation week!

Yum! We have an awesome PTA at my elementary school and they set up an awesome cupcake display for us recently. I've never seen so many cupcakes! And they always provide really delicious food for parent-teacher conference nights.

Which is a strange combo but our PTO is made up of very different personalities. :)

Nice!!

We got a taco bar on Monday. Then everyday our admin hands out a treat with a little note attached.

"How hard you work is nothing to SNICKER about" With Snickers bar attached.

"Thanks for your commit-MINT to our students". With a York peppermint patty.

"You're an EXTRAordinary leader of Learners. Be proud of the work you've done." With a pack of Extra gum.

It may be cheesy, but I LOVE IT.

Our PTA provided us with hamburgers and all of the fixings, potato salad, baked beans, and a variety of desserts today. I am so ready to go home and sleep it off!

Is teachers week this week? I noticed a huge platter of cookies(and no one ever eats the oatmeal raisin which happens to be my favorite) in the lounge. That's what that was for then:wideyed:

I am not included in teacher appreciation week. Every other speciality (security, plant services, technology support etc) gets food and a free half day but nada for little old me. We have training on school nurses day lmao. Oh well.
