Hello,
I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.
I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.
I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.
Thank you everyone for all the thoughts, prayers, and kind words! I really appreciate it. I'm hopefully going to retake a class then apply. Maybe you guys can give me all the tips for my first semester when y'all are in your second... and I will buy your BOOKS!! :) I will be praying for an easy first semester for all you guys!! I wish everyone the best and hopefully I will meet y'all in the spring!!
Also, I'm taking Med Term this summer...I have a friend in his 2nd semester and he said he took it, it wasnt necessary but it was extremely helpful. Plus I need to get out of the house!! I didnt take any classes in Spring, so it will help to get me back in "SCHOOL" mode.
P.S. this book list is CRAZY! I got some books from my friend but there are still stacks to buy. He did advise me of which ones he recommended from the reference list, (orange sheet) if anyone is interested. Also, he said he didnt recommend buying the Litman that they sell at Orientation, from TSNA...something with people complaining about the sound. I thought I'd get some input from you guys, especially those already in health care who use them.
I think lmd might have some tips too. I think she knows two people that are in the program right now. Help lmd :)
Dreamer, my head was spinning with that book list too. I'm confused, do we buy that package online or at the bookstore? Maybe I need to reread that whole packet for the fourth time.

The varicella titer took 3 days for results, I believe.
