I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.
I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.
I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.
So, dreamer, now that you have gotten accepted at TCC, who are you going to choose, WC or TCC? Did you decide yet? You live in Ft. Worth right?
I haven't made a decision yet. I was hoping TCC's Orientation would be held before August so I could get a good feel for both schools before making my decision. I'm trying to look at all the factors involved, not just which school is closer to my house (but I am located in the Keller/Watauga area). It's going to be a really tough decision to make, and I'm honestly not looking forward to having to pick. I can't even tell you how confused I am right now. :grn:

I did that yesterday. I was surprised at how simple it was.
For some reason I thought we had to wait till July, then I reread the paperwork. I guess I was too excited to catch every detail the first read through.
Does anyone have any information on student health insurance? If so please PM me. I have health ins. through my employer right now, but I will be quitting my job when school starts so I need affordable options.
Apparently, I need another MMR vaccine. Do most DR's offices have those or do I need to go to the health department? Not sure why my second dose doesn't count.

I also had to get another dose (I did it at the health dept). BUT, on my shot record it showed: MMR/Series/2/ blah blah....Basically it looked to me like I had 2, but WC said I only had one. I didn't see it but I went and got another.
