  1. TCC does not have a pharm class. It is integrated throughout the program. Mr. Ume has been kind enough to work it out with the school to let him teach this for free. Not sure if he will offer it again. I will be in adult next semester and I am taking this pharm class. I am not sure I would have taken it my first semester, but it is probably doable. Good luck everyone!
  2. I cN not believe we are about to finish our first semester. It has gone by so fast. Anyone on here have jps clinical on Saturday's? That is what I have.
  3. Congrats on getting in to the program! I am almost thru my first semester and I love it. It's so much fun. I can tell you about the lab kits. They contain syringes and needles, ng tube, urinary catheter, gloves, surgical gloves, central line dressing change, and iv kit. All the things you are about to learn how to use. You will have to purchase your own scissors pen light, and extra gloves. May I suggest a scrapbook supply rolling bag, you will be carrying a lot of stuff. Parking has been a challenge, so be prepared to get to class early. Good luck!
  4. Good luck to all of you! I really hope you have a shorter wait than we did for this semester. I just finished my 5th week in the TCC program, and I love it! I'm a little tired but it is totally worth it! Hope to see you on campus in January.
  5. Hows everyone doing with all the reading? I am caught up on all the chapters just not sure how much i have retained.
  6. I'm really enjoying my "last weekend" with my family. I've read my chapters and done lots of practice med calculations. I'm so ready for school tomorrow.
  7. It was very easy, just go in the door on the street level, just off belknap. Walk down the coridor and it will be on the right. You can see all the tables set up for cpr.
  8. That is scary. I really hope we all do well. We better get some good study groups together. I found a digital recorder at walmart for $30 that I plan on buying.
  9. It was nice to meet everyone. I didn't expect to be so tired afterword. Hope to see and talk to you at school some. I know I don't have classes with many of you. And wow, I am so scared and excited!
  10. Good Morning everyone!!
  11. Ok, I just re-read the post by Mr Ume, and it says review the clinical CID very well before orientation. I guess we dont have to bring the cid.
  12. Dreamer, I just realized that if you don't have Mr. Ume for clinicals you may not have the message. It is listed in classes. It says to read the CID very well, and bring them to orientation, because we will go over them.
  13. lmd- you are not a dork! I am so excited. I've even been worried about what to wear. I think i have settled on jeans for comfort. I hope I can sleep tomorrow, I have been working my tail off, so I should be able to. Although, we probably should get used to sleepless nights. Did everyone see the message from Mr. Ume on campus cruiser? I think we are supposed to bring our CID tomorrow.
  14. Can't wait to officially meet everyone tomorrow. I plan on getting there bright and early.
