Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston Pacesetter BSN - Spring 2026

I am starting a thread for anyone applying to CIZIK for Spring 2026. How is your application coming along, what are your stats, and have you gotten any response at this time?

I will go first:

Application submitted 05/12/2025 via Ncas

GPA: 3.9 SGPA: 4.0 TEAS: 90%

Status: Application received.

Hey! I am currently working on my application. I am completing my science pre-reqs right now before I am able to submit. I did attend the information session a few weeks ago and have been speaking with a student counselor. They mentioned that we probably won't hear back until after the September 15th deadline since they review all applications at once and don't do rolling admissions. Praying we get in 😫

Me too. I am beginning to think I submitted my applications too early. September seems like a long time to wait. I do not even know what to do while waiting...

Hey!! So I applied for Fall 2025 and I couldn't finish my Lab in time for the application deadline. So Im applying to this term! Just recently submitted my application!

STATS :  3.6 GPA overall  and  TEAS : 94

has your portal been updated yet? I'm also reapplying for the Spring semester but I also applied for the fall of 2025 and my portal is still showing fall 2025? 

I'm reapplying as my fall application was not reviewed due to the Addmission not looking at my transcripts correctly and not realizing that I had all the required 57/60 hours l, so they never even reviewed my application. 
 

my stats:

sgpa: 3.81

overall GPA : 3.86

HESI: 92 overall

Yes keep us updated! I'm really confused how it works if you are reapplying especially with the portal.

Great news for students who will get accepted. They are offering a full ride scholarship.  Visit the UThealth website or Google "UTHealth Houston launches tuition-free program for qualifying nursing students".

UPDATE: Today jusy recieved an email and I used the same login , I can see the application status for Spring 2026.

Question: Do we send our official transcripts to the school as well? Or thats what nursingcas is for ?
