Sometimes school nursing sucks

Absolutely not! I am waiting for my last day, June 14!!!!

I have mixed feelings about the end of the year - the Army has decided it's time for us to go home, so we are moving back to Texas. Once again, I will be leaving a job I love and waiting for another to come along.

On the other hand, June 21 can not get here fast enough!

Hope your summer vacation's go well school nurses! Not sure how I'd feel about having no set job to go to for that long. One part of me thinks it would be heavenly, the more practical part says nope! that'd never work for me.

It's one of the absolute best parts of this job as far as I am concerned. I get to relax, spend time with my family and recharge my batteries. 19 more days for me. Can't wait!

100% agree with what @100kids said! Besides, if I really felt like I was going to be at loose ends over the summer, I could work summer school or apply to work at a camp.

I love having the summer off with my kids. My district spreads my pay out over 12 months, so I get a full pay over the summer.
