Searchin for the longest experienced nurse out there. Was just wondering as I was thinking about all the tremendous changes nursing has brought about through out the years. Nursing doesn't seem the same as it was 16 yrs ago ( For myself ), or even 10 or even 5 years ago!
Thanks for sharing

I graduated sixteen years ago! And received notification that I passed my NCLEX 16 Sept. 87!
That was such a momentous and thrilling moment, not to mention how much weight was lifted off of me once learning I had passed the biggest test of all time in my life! :chuckle Whew! Sitting for state boards for two full eight hour days of WRITTEN EXAM testing compared to what the nurses today are dealing with. Makes me laugh when I hear them sweating over the test being cut off at 75 questions on the computer meaning for the most part they passed! Wonder what kind of sweat they would have put out had they been in our shoes! :rotfl:
Anyway, I am going to celebrate by wearing all white and a nursing cap to work on my big day Sept. 16, 2003!

Started school in '62 finished in '74 so 29 years licensed. Add 7 years as medical assistant if you wish, but 29 as a nurse.
