Some mornings I log on, only to turn around and leave. What is with the folks who appear to be out to monopolize the forum? Are they in a competition with each other as to who can post the most threads? Do they not have lives? Are they dangerous, as in "I want to learn how to program this infusion pump without actually having a job that requires it"?
Well I am back......and I will be spending time looking at threads.
Don't wear yourself out. We missed you terribly! At one point, we contemplated adopting the acronym WWED? (What would Esme do?). Many threads disappeared into oblivion (for good reason) and some stayed but got way off topic by the third or fourth post. Welcome back!
I don't frequent the site enough to notice, Klone do you have some statistics on this? (Not being a wiseass, just honestly interested in the numbers. What I have noticed is more "get money quick" spam posts lately.
Maybe you shouldn't have been so quick to tell me that with 4,000 posts I should be used to it by now:no:. I doubt that klone keeps statistics on weird posts. You just have to be around more to notice.
And delete the account, in my opinion, as this site is NOT for this type of poster...
is that no one can really monopolize the forum without "our" willing cooperation. When we keep replying to threads we keep them alive. We choose if we wish to participate, or not. So, I'd say it's a symbiotic venture :)
And to be honest, I think that sometimes a bit of drama can be entertaining.
(About the poster who posted at length about specialty beds and some medical procedures and other medical equipment. The questions are no doubt weird (and can be construed as sinister) but I think that we might be dealing with a person who has spent a prolonged period of time in an ICU with what I suspect was extensive injuries and is now dealing with the emotional aftermath. I think that it might be a good idea to tread lightly on that one).
