School Nurse's Day

Confused ....... I have seen that tomorrow is School Nurse's Day and I have also seen that it is May 11 ???

Wanted to see what you know ??

Either way, I will be overlooked just like in years past. I'm okay with it though because the hurt from this is long gone !

I am thankful for this awesome group of supporters. Without you, my day would suck a lot more.

We had steak, baked potato, salad and 3 different homemade cakes for teacher appreciation week. Then I was surprised by a banner and flowers from the office staff and a poster with candy from the HOSA class. Today was a good day! (and NO pseudoseizures all week tops it off!)

Somewhere is a school calendar that said School Nurse Day was last Wed. One of my teachers was apologetic for not recognizing the day! I told her she hadn't missed. ;-)

Had a student bring me 16 of her mother's homemade cinnamon rolls for my family. Happy Nurse's Day to us. I am fine, don't need anything else, Heaven found!

Would love to share, the teachers are still filled from their week. Couldn't give them away today. Then I received an Edible Arrangement from the PTO. Blessed beyond my worth. Really, I am fine with a thank you, I love dealing with these kids.

I guarantee School Nurses' Day won't be recognized at my school tomorrow. We are in the middle of state testing, and everyone is focused on that. Plus, Teacher Appreciation Week had so little effort put into it last week that it leaves me with no expectations.

HAPPY SCHOOL NURSES DAY FRIENDS!!

I came in to a jar of snickers, a home made cookie sandwich, and a 12-pack of coke on my desk.

I've since had kids come in with a big "Thank-you" poster, and hand-made cards, all before 0800. I freaking love my job!!
