My friend who's a fellow RN told me about open nursing positions in Iraq. Apparently they are so desperate for nurses there they are offering $200K for just 6 months.

Any info on this? I tried googling it but with no luck :(

Wow!!!!! That is amazing..... If you find out anything let us know...

Wow for 6 months - maybe that's for a year? They're offering $150k for 12 months to firefighters (or for people would like to go over there and be firefighters).

you could try medhunters.com or alliraqjobs.com, they both have RN jobs listed, but not sure about the income.

I have a friend that one if his friends was over in Iraq working doing construction and I was told he was making close to $1000 a day. I have not heard anything with regards to nursing though.

My first instinct tells me this is urban legend.

I would like to be proven wrong, though.

I second that!

If this is true, theres a reason the salary would be so high. If ive come to learn something, its that if it looks too good to be true, it usually is.
