I super appreciate a teacher walking by with his class and seeing that I am just now, an hour before dismissal, starting to shovel my lunch into my face. And then proceeding to send to me three nonsense visits in a row. :sniff:

39 school days left for me. Stupid snow. :sniff:

We always go late into June. I always hate it when everyone here is done and it becomes a ghost town in here. I have 41 more days and I'm feeling it! I'm ready for days at the beach!

When did you guys start that your are going so late? After Labor day?

We are done June 2 (after 4 or 5 emergency days). 23 days.......

We were supposed to be done June 2. Due to snow days, students now go through June 8th. Staff through June 9th. 27 more days with the kids!

I don't know what the story is, but we are still at another 29 days. However, our school holds a language immersion camp 10 days. Therefor, I work another 40 days... I start my camp job in 41 days. No vacation for me...

In the North east we start after Labor Day

We start after Labor Day here . . . were supposed to go until June 15, last day for teachers June 16, but with so many snow days they ended up just adding 15 minutes to each school day and instead we get out June 12! Niiiiiice.

Of course for me, my last day is FRIDAY!!!

I've heard of schools adding additional minutes on the day to make up for lost time but I'm not sure how this works.... I need to book it out of work at 3pm sharp to get to my kids as they get home (different school district than I work in). There is no way I could stay additional time each day. And I'm certain the school would not be excited to pay me for time that I could not stay for.
