Good grief. America's Frontline Doctors, a group of quacks who claim to know more than actual experts are pushing the use of ineffective parasite med to prevent and or treat COVID.
On a personal note, my hubby works for a farm store and has overheard customers explaining to each other how to dose animal wormer for people. This is in a community that is anti-mask, anti-vaccine, let's just all get infected. Up until, you know, they need hospitalization .

Bear in mind that the folks buying the stuff from the feed store are people whose rationale is "I don't trust that experimental vaccine recommended by my doctor, but I trust this horse medicine I read about on the internet." I think we can reasonably assume that a whole bunch of them aren't bright enough to properly dose their horse medicine for humans, or to know when it might not be safe for them to use.
When this is all done, med administration is going to have 19 rights, the lates being "right species".
Agreed, no one should be going to Tractor Supply and dosing themselves with the horse version of Ivermectin. Make a PSA about, no problem. The human formulation however, has been researched, and has ongoing research in use for Covid 19. It also is not necessarily the case that people that tout ivermectin reject vaccination. Ivermectin is therapeutic, and there are some vaccinated people getting Covid-19. I work at a nurse so don't have all day to research this, but I find it fascinating that a group of published physicians are essentially shouting from the rooftops that Ivermectin works and are submitting their data. I think we should all be curious about this, as medical professionals we are interesting in helping people. After reading more about this I found this video that was apparently removed from Youtube.

This is what I am finding on this site lately. If you go against main stream you are called all kinds of names etc. They will throw out a state like it’s increased buy 50% but when you look at the numbers per 1000, 100,000 etc. it’s only a couple of people. They ask for science but when you ask for the to prove their opinions most of the time you get backlash.

Veterinary Ivermectin is being used by humans in desperation and some people have been harmed because of it. There is no known safe and effective dosing for treatment or prevention of covid.
It's interesting that you seem to be promoting use of the drug for covid when it's clearly wrong. There's no question that there is insufficient data or evidence to support such behavior or thinking and placing a veneer of professional wisdom on the behavior is dangerous.
