President Biden thread

Published

Wow.  No one has started such a thread yet?

After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days,  apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.

Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week,  by the end of April.

Child detention facilities were around long before Trump, children brought to the border by child trafficker's are held there until they can be returned to their family.  What the Trump administration did that was different was to use the facilities to intentionally separate children from their families, that was the issue.

Yes.  Also, there are missing children and children whose parents cannot be found due to Trump's Draconian policies to tear them from their parents arms at the border then deport them with the kids left in cages on our side of the border.  The Trump administration did not even set up an accurate tracking system so they could be reunited nor did they care.  Of course Stephen Miller was the author of that policy and Stephen Miller is a real-life Nazi.

I previously agreed with you that he lied.  The guy has a reputation for being a jerk and an obnoxious guy to work for.  But you haven't answered my question:  where would you have put the patients who no longer required acute hospitalization but still required nursing care?  You are quick to criticize but offer no solutions.  Gee, I know a television network who does the same thing every day.  I'm dying to hear your plan.

Go back.  I did answer your question.

You are the quintessential Trump supporter, aren't you.

Maybe in your eyes.  Either way, you're sadly mistaken if you think I'm going to read a long essay past this personal remark.

Well, it's good to see a anti Trumper admit that much.

The Trump administration also did the same.  They needed to be separated until it was determined who was family and who was traffickers.

So it's really all about the headline, isn't it? If the headline catches your eye, you engage?

What's the point of superficiality? You hopefully don't treat people like that, do you? I really hope you don't dude, because you will be missing out a lot. Beerman, you have to engage with the context of things to understand them. Anything else is not only disrespectful, it's just rude.

I read all of your posts just because you are so different. I don't understand why you think the way you do and being blinkered means that you miss everything going on around you. That's why they put them on horses!

You are deflecting from what Biden is now doing.

Do you remember when you were a child? Could you bare to be separated from your parents? I still need my parents. Dude, there's nothing more cruel that I can imagine, than taking a young child away from their parents. When you were scared as a child, didn't you run straight into your parents bed? Can't you remember what a reassuring world it is knowing that your Dad is there to protect you or older demonic sister ???. She really is totally scary is my older sister!

Dude, your family is your life when you are young.

They were also separating children from their families unrelated to suspicion of trafficking.

The Trump administration admitted to this in court, the Justice department and judiciary committee also confirmed this.

Field hospital.  Ship?  I sent you a reply why those couldn't and didn't work in NYC.  I know...it was a long article and kinda hard and you had to read the whole thing to understand.

So,  you did see that I answered your question.  Then why did you say I didn't?

It's not that I didn't answer.  It's that you didn't like my answer,  so you were hoping for a different one.

Anyway, let's say that Cuomo had signed a order that covid patients could NOT go to nursing homes.  Obviously,  other solutions would have been found and lives would have been saved.

Yes, so I would have been traumatized if I was sent to another country with traffickers,  and then that other country let me in with them.
