Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

It is clear Trump supporters don't know what inept is or is not because Trump supporters continue to support Trump despite his multiple failures and his traitorous Anti-American actions. Just so Trump supporters understand, those of us who are not in worship of your idol god are not in fear of Democrats. The losers that talk to you guys in fearful tones of Democrats, such as the racist right-wing hateful media are doing so because they want to make lots and lots of money off of you and want to destroy this country. That is all. They are not in the business of telling the truth, especially Fox News.

Because by the same token, can you trust someone's judgement that was so vocal about Trump's lies and then is silent about Biden's? Yes, I know you can't compare the two it's like comparing a cockroach to a tiny ant, but a lie is a lie.
I'll drop it now. I appreciate you.
Please don't mistake my unwillingness to entertain a Trump devotee's fantasies about lies and corruption among Biden's communication as unwillingness to consider Biden's truthfulness. I watch public remarks when available, listen to actual remarks and read transcripts to understand the context of the analysis of others. I pay close attention to the public musings of our elected officials...it's a retirement hobby of sorts. It's suited for pandemic infotainment. Everyone gets things wrong sometimes. Biden certainly gets things wrong.
That's not the same as being corrupt or a liar. It's just not. So saying that Joe got it wrong is different from saying Joe is a liar. In my view.
I appreciate you too.

And not only that they are writing a new bill to doxx all the people who signed the recall petition and while it is still pending "allowing" people to remove their names from the petition. (Obviously trying to get back under the number needed).
Here's what I think. Republicans had better cut their nonsense out because I will be the first to admit it, I thought Garland would be a useless AG because of his by the book attitude, but after what he just pulled on Rudi, republicans had better start looking for countries to flee to. Garland has just emboldened the DA from Georgia and New York. And you know when the feds pull out the garlic and the cross, Rudi is going to flip. I just want Bill Barr to get his comeuppance.
I bet McConnell is wishing he had allowed Garland onto the bench now. I have no doubts that McConnell is going to be investigated.
I have just been tortured by my father all afternoon. 7 phone calls and 18 texts because I have been repeatedly saying how useless Garland would be and he's been saying the opposite. He's right. This is some gangster ***!
Also if you can't beat them, join them or level the playing field. I say Dems should start following the republican playbook. Gerrymander every district after they have prosecuted enough republicans into resigning. After what republicans have done recently in Georgia and Texas and trying to do in every state. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

Both sides gerrymander. Of course, the dems try to make others believe they'd never do such a thing.
My purple currently more blue state of Colorado just gained another house seat. Just watch while they use that to "adjust" boundries.

And, same for the Calif train. Was supposed to go from San Fran to LA but now supposed to go (still not actually going yet!) from Merced to Bakersfield because of the botched job they did. It's a total joke and might be funny if not for how much tax payer money they have completely wasted ( or otherwise misplaced!). Nobody in their right mind thinks Calif needs a high speed train between Bakersfield and Merced except inept politicians.
And wait, inept Dem policies coming your state soon!
But hopefully people in Cali have seen the light and will recall Newsom. Who btw is double checking all the signatures on the recall petitions. Hmm, OK to check for voter fraud now I guess. And, also they have put together a bill to release (ie dox) all the names and info of we the people who have signed the petition, kinda sounds like voter intimidation doesnt it.
Yep, no tyranny going on here.
Amtrak, the proposed bullet train, and public transportation within California (ie commuter trains) are all different things.
Additionally, each large city has it's own commuter train system, but they are fully integrated. Los Angeles has Metrolink, San Diego has Coaster, etc.
The Los Angeles Metro (major bus lines) also has light rail service, zooming down the middle of the freeway.
California voters approved construction of the high-speed train in 2008, so maybe a petition to revoke that approval would be a better idea than the effort to recall Newsom will, because I don't think the 62% of California voters who elected him in 2018 are likely to think Caitlin Jenner or John Cox, the Trump fanatic who got the other 38%, will do a much better job at this point.
Petition signatures are part of the public record.
They aren't double-checking signatures, because petitions don't have access to another signature to compare it to. You don't need to provide any proof you're a registered voter when you sign the petition.
Therefore California is obliged to waste taxpayer money making sure they are, instead of assuming people who are determined to see you fired for not agreeing with their politics are not capable of such chicanery.
Voter fraud in my area ...man got probation
QuoteMarple man who returned an absentee ballot on behalf of his dead mother in the 2020 General Election said he got caught up in “propaganda” after pleading guilty Friday to two counts of perjury, a third-degree felony, and one count of unlawful voting, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Bartman, a registered Republican, was sentenced to five years of probation for each count, running concurrently, ...will also not be eligible to vote until April 30, 2024, under state law.
... Bartman accessed the Pennsylvania online voter registration portal in August 2020 to register his mother, Elizabeth Bartman, who died in 2008, and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Weihman, who died in 2019, for the 2020 General Election.
Bartman was able to use his mother’s driver’s license number and the last four digits of his mother-in-law’s Social Security number as identifiers in the Pennsylvania system...
...Stollsteimer said Bartman registered both deceased woman as Republicans in order to further the campaign of former Republican President Donald Trump, ..
Stretton said last year that the issue first came to light thanks to a New York Times investigative piece that compared registered voters to obituaries.....
In PA to get an absentee ballot, need to use SS# or drivers license on firm/computer website to request absentee ballot which comes with bar code, signature on envelope --barcode compared in state system. Appearing at voter site, you sign voter registration book which compares signature on file. When discrepancy, counted as provisional ballot. Most of the people working the polls, know voters as my area has long term homeowners. This is similar process in many states.. My husband had requested absentee ballot, so name was not on voter list last year as already sent; unfortunately he passed prior to receiving ballot confirmed with county to just shred it -complied.

Beerman, here's something that you should THINK ABOUT.
All of your searches on the internet are tracked by Google or whatever apps you subscribe to, collecting data. Analytics transforms your searches through algorithms and gives you information that they think you will like.
Your information is BIASED!
You have been PROGRAMMED, just as liberals, except liberals actually want what's best for EVERYONE!
It doesn't matter that liberals are programmed, because they are coming from a good place. Whether it be guilt or just plain simple education, their goals are, No gerrymandering! Equality and Justice for all! One person, one vote!
How do you argue with that?
Republicans are against all of those things.
Are you?

I am well aware of the train wreck (pun intended) the train project has become. This is not anywhere near the reason for the recall. The recall of Newsom is bc of all the (liberal) policies that have made the state a hot mess and bc he is inept/corrupt. Including the new bill to doxx all the people who have signed the petition (ie voter intimidation made legal).

Of course Google is tracking you and also keeping a record of every search etc. They along with Twitter, and facebook etc are very left/liberal bias (kicking people who are Conservative off, not allowing the different opinions etc). Google will only show what they want you to see in the no 1 position and down and also on the first page. Their studies show that the vast majority of people never go to pg 2 because they "believe" Google is putting the best info up first. We have pretty much close to zero privacy anymore.
Believe it or not Conservatives want what is best for everyone too! It is exactly bc of that programming bias that you think otherwise.
We are losing our free and open society but nobody seems to care and it will be to the detriment of us all.
People are afraid to speak out for fear of losing jobs etc just because of a different opinion. People are showing up at others houses and committing violence because they have been doxxed.
Our Country will not be able to stand when divided we fall, and we are falling.
The question is, what comes next! You think it will be better, do you really trust the politicians and the elites that much?!

You sound angry about and fearful of the Biden administration. That makes me wonder what algorithms have triggered in your social media consumption.
Who do you think is pushing division...Biden? His speech on Wednesday wasn't divisive. While some may not agree with his agenda, the agenda is not divisive. While people may disagree with Biden priorities, the focus of the priorities is not division. While people may not like Biden personally, his communication is not full of divisive language. Biden's message isn't us v them among Americans...
Refusing to allow non heterosexuals the blessings and protections of marriage (for example) doesn't seem to be an example of conservatives wanting what is best for all people.

This comment is not really making sense. Why are youangry that election and recall security processes are being followed?
