If you are a nurse, or a future nurse, is your spouse/significant other in law enforcement?

Just curious to see if this is a legit pattern or if I've just been noticing it more lately.

Really? Never heard that stereotype. Not my experience at all. And I was friends with several people in the police field before dating one working in the field.

i feel one man is just as big a pain in the azz as the next. mine was a Lt. so maybe a bit bigger pain in the azz. :woot:

My SO is a pediatrician but I wouldn't complain in the slightest if he wanted to put on a cop uniform. :yes: Now that I think of it a lot of my coworkers are married to cops or firefighters.

I am not married to a LEO, but I know many couples who are medical field/ law enforcement. For instance my mama is a paramedic and my daddy is a retired LEO and my little brother is a LEO and his wife is a nurse. My previous employer, a NP, is also married to a LEO. :)

I'm an ER nurse, boyfriend is a Correctional Sergeant and reserve police officer. In our circle of close friends (5 couples, all the men work in corrections) only one officer isn't married to/dating a nurse or tech.

I'm in San Diego and my last two boyfriends were Navy SEALS. There are a few military bases here so SEAL/RN and Navy/Marine and RN couples are common. We actually have a huge statue of a salior kissing a nurse here too by the bay! Not sure where ya'll are meeting these cops though.
